Children
The goal of our Children's Ministry is to connect children with Christ.
1st - 4th Grade Rock Building
From the first fun and meaningful activity through the stimulating Bible story and hands-on application, each part of the lesson connects kids to trustworthy Bible truth for their everyday lives and draws them closer to Jesus.
5th and 6th grade Rock Building
Each week the our preteens tackle tough questions about faith, relationships, and the choices they make. They are engaged through attention-grabbing lessons, thought-provoking videos, fun games, and deep, life-changing Bible lessons. Weekly challenges that dare preteens to apply what they've learned in simple yet effective ways close out each class.
It’s my first time. Where do I go and what do I do?
Children’s Connection Groups are located in the Rock Building, the old stone building at the east side of the campus. Visitors will be greeted at the front door and shown to their age-appropriate class. Once in the class you will be introduced to your teachers and asked to fill out a visitor card. After that it’s time for the fun to begin. After class, teachers allow children to leave class to meet family members unless the parent asks for the student to wait for a parent.
Where is my class?
The Rock Building consists of three floors. After you enter the foyer you must go up or down a set of stairs. The stairs leading down will take you to the 3rd and 4th grade rooms. The stairs leading up will take you to the 1st, 2nd, 5th/6th Boys and 5th/6th Girls rooms. The 1st and 2nd grade room are located on the middle floor and the 5th and 6th grade rooms are on the top floor. Each classroom has a sign next to the door with the grade and teachers' names. Wednesday Evening
1st-6th Grade Boys Rock Building
Royal Ambassadors (RAs) encourages kids to step out and do what is right in all parts of their lives. They will study the great stories and people in the Bible in order to learn about issues ranging from the courage to make the right choices, to the courage to admit when they are wrong.
1st-6th Grade Girls Rock Building
In our Girls in Action (GAs) classes, we learn about missions and pray for missionaries in North America and around the world. By learning new skills, giving to missions, and working together, we find out that we can be missionaries, too. An award system and exciting missions projects keep us motivated and having fun.
