Dear GA Parents/Guardians:

“Christmas in August” is a great way to involve our GAs in a hands-on ministry project.  People of all ages can combine efforts to meet the needs of North American missionaries. Children love to collect items to send, and they have been doing this since 1927!  We have chosen a project that emphasizes the “giving to missions” part of our pledge.  If your GA participates in this project (with your help), she will earn her Christmas in August badge.  We will be collecting items in our GA room for this project until September 26, 2007.  We have chosen to support the following missionaries: 

Wade and Carol Pacheco of Fort Collins, Colorado

    • Wal-Mart or Sam's Gift Cards
    • 1 to 2 ounce bottles of hand sanitizer
    • facial tissue packets
    • highlighters
    • hot chocolate packets
    • pencils and/or pens
    • small sticky note pads
    • stick gum
    • zip-lock bags
