The Greater Glory

The exiles who had returned from Babylonian captivity moved forward in their mission to rebuild the Lord's house by rebuilding the foundation. When the foundation was laid many shouted with joy but some wept with disappointment. The lesson for all to learn was the glory of the Lord's house is not in the grandeur of the architecture but in the presence of the Lord. We too can get our focus on the wrong things and need to be reminded that more important than the building or programs of the church is to know the Lord and walk in His faithful love.
