OUR WORSHIP

Every Sunday at 10am

WORSHIP AT THE CENTER

Worship is our response to the revelation of God made known to us most fully through the light and life of Jesus Christ. Enabled and guided by the Holy Spirit, we are able to commune with God each week that we gather together.

Modeling the Gospel

Each aspect of our weekly service outlines the Gospel from the Creation narrative (Genesis 1-2) to the Great Commission (Matthew 28). As we walk through each element, we are reminded of our place in the work of God's redemptive plan.

Revelation

Our worship in its entirety is a response to God revealing himself. We cannot initiate worship; it is through God’s revelation of himself that we are able to respond. Through God’s call to worship him we are able to gather as his church.

ADORATION

Our time of worship is not a stand-alone event, but a presence in the larger, eternal proclamation of God’s glory. Our service begins by acknowledging and adoring the One who is worthy and has called us into worship.

Confession

God's holiness shows our unworthiness to dwell in his presence. Our response to God’s character and presence should be to repent of our sin, knowing he is faithful and just to forgive.

Assurance of Pardon

We know that through Christ our sin is atoned for. Through his salvation and the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to worship the Son, magnifying the Father.

Proclamation

Worship is not a one-sided conversation, but rather a continuing dialogue. As Christ ministered to people through his Word, in worship we receive the Word of God so that it will form and renew our hearts and minds.

Response

The proclamation of God’s Word requires a response. Our worship service allows us to respond to the Word that has been proclaimed in order that the church may grow in her love and obedience to Christ.

Sending

The church’s worship cannot be contained solely within its walls. The final act of our worship service is to send the church to make disciples of all nations. The church’s worship is made whole in her fulfillment of the mission given by Christ. Without the act of mission the church’s worship is incomplete.

Common Questions

What is your Sunday schedule?

What do I wear?

Our Worship Service is currently at 10am at the Copperas Cove High School Cafeteria, 865 W Ave D. Join us for coffee and fellowship before worship, beginning at 9:30am.
We don’t have a dress code. On a Sunday morning you’ll see some people dressed casually while others will be wearing suits and dresses. Whatever you are comfortable in is great with us.

Do you have anything for kids?

Where do I park?

We offer ETC (Extended Teaching Care) for infants - kids in Kindergarten during the entire Worship Service. The Hub (children's church) is available for 1-6 graders during the sermon. These classes are located off the cafeteria foyer. Shortly after the service starts, the door to the hallway for the children's classes will be locked. Please ring the doorbell for assistance.
While we are temporarily meeting at the High School Cafeteria, please follow the map below for parking. There is handicapped parking near the entrance of the cafeteria and the first row of parking is reserved for those with greatest needs. You may also pull up to the front and a deacon will park your car for you (indicated by the red line on the map). Golf cart service is also available.
