What is a Drive Thru Trunk or Treat?

Families will receive a bucket of supplies then drive thru nine stations. Each station will have two identically-decorated game trunks where children have an opportunity to play a quick game - all from the family car. At the end children will receive a bag of candy!

Where Does the Line Begin?

The line will start on West Ave A and North 3rd street then run along Ave B (parking lane in front of First Baptist Church). From there you’ll turn right onto North 7th St. then enter the fun at to the corner of West Ave A and North 7th St.

Will I Get Out of My Car?

Families will stay in your car the entire time. Children will play games at the trunks by throwing, tossing, and squirting things out the windows. We’ll give you all the game supplies.

May I Walk Thru?

For your safety only cars will be permitted in the trunk areas.

How Long is the Wait?

We anticipate it will take 20 minutes to go through the game area. It is our hope that the waiting line will also take no longer than 20 minutes. We will have greeters along the sidewalk sharing jokes, you'll have paper airplanes to make (paper supplied in your game bucket), or you can bring a snack for the kids to eat in the car (Sorry, no popcorn this year!).

Will I Be Socially-Distanced?

There will only be two people you will come in direct contact with, one person at the beginning of the line to hand you your game supplies and one person at the end to hand you your candy. Those individuals will be masked and health screened.  All of the volunteers you’ll see throughout the event will be socially-distanced and masked. We encourage participants to wear masks.
